Support which is much more than just coffee ... A Mentor when you want it!
So why do I believe with a passion that I can help you grow your business, and/or set better boundaries, via business mentoring and support? Well, with over ten years experience as Managaing Director of a top Mother and Baby Franchise (I built my business from start up to an international presence), I believe that I have a wealth of experience and assistance to offer to other like-minded mumpreneurs, working to create their ideal business around their family!
From running a parenting centre, through to a pop up high street boutique; from a mother and baby marquee provision at a major festival, through to holistic therapies and beauty; the extent of the experience and knowledge I aquired and practised is not to be underestimated and now I want to share it with you!
But the business experience is just one side of the coin and what's on the other side is of equal importance! The ability to 'actively listen' and to encourage dialogue and empower choice, without imposing judgement!
My former business was underpinned by the principle of 'peer to peer' support. I authored a mentoring programme, albeit for women going through the life change of having a baby, and put this into practise across thousands of women. Realising the power of 'peer to peer' support - fact based, non judgemental support from someone who has walked the same path - has helped me understand that mentoring is one of the most powerful tools for encouraging business success and happiness. I truly believe all the skills employed in my former mentoring role are transferable (especially when coupled with my business experience) to the business world!
